Brother Printer MFC J430 is Very disappointed in this printer,even for the low purchase price of $69.99. I purchased this printer in OCT of 2011 and have gone through the original ink cartridges plus two full sets of new cartridges in less than one year and have done very little Brother MFC J430W printing. I have found that if I don't print anything for 2 or 3 days the black ink seems to dry out,I then have to go through 5 or 6 cleaning stages to get it to print properly. 

To make matters worse,the color cartridges seem to run out sooner then the black even though I am not doing any color printing! I can not afford to keep buying Brother MFC J430DW ink cartridges for this printer, my HP 920C uses one set of ink cartridges in 1 1/2 to 2 years. I have contacted Brother and the Brother support group and was told that there is nothing they can do and that the ink usage is normal

This Printer Brother MFC J430DW is going in the trash and I will never buy a Brother product again. If it was not for the disappearing ink problem this may be a good unit, but I just cant afford it. Very poor quality and support from this company.
